Kota Kinabalu, 13 June – Gleneagles Kota Kinabalu promises a funfilled family affair at Imago Shopping Mall on 22 June from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dispersed around the venue are interactive stations enabling young participants to exercise their physical and mental abilities while bonding with their parents and loved ones.
The event is held in conjunction with Gleneagles Kota Kinabalu’s current health campaign. From May till June, the hospital has spurred efforts to raise awareness of common conditions affecting men, women, and children.
Mdm. Masturah Jamrah, Director of Sabah Women Affairs Department, representing Datuk Frankie Poon, Minister of Health & Community Wellbeing, will be present to officiate the launch of Dr. Little Club, a membership programme for children aged 12 years and below.
Visitors can enjoy a host of activities including a mini obstacle course for kids, stage games for family members, and informational booths.
A panel of consultant from Gleneagles Kota Kinabalu will also be on hand to deliver health talks. Paediatrician and neonatologist Dr. Matthew Chong as well as obstetricians and gynaecologists Dr. Alagammai A/P Ramanathan and Dr. Gavin Yong are set to speak on promoting healthy families.
“Me, Mom & Dad” is jointly organised with Parents Avenue, Kinabalu International School, Kinabalu Pink Ribbon, and CryoCord.
The event is open to the public and entry is free.
